Do you know what man's greatest invention is? The television, of course! I don't understand people who say that watching TV is bad for you. They act like it's going to make you stupid or crazy. As a person who has watched television his whole life, I can tell you that nothing bad will happen to you. When I was a child, I sat in front of the TV every day for hours at a time. I watched a lot of TV series, documentaries, and wildlife programmes. Even though I watched violent films and thrillers, I never wanted to hurt anyone. I'm a university graduate and I have a great job now, so it didn't do any damage to my brain at all. In my opinion it's a matter of making the right choices. If you feel like watching television, watch it. You don't always have to watch mindless comedies. There are plenty of educational shows to choose from. Parents and children alike can select programmes that are worth watching. They should also make good decisions about the amount of time spent in front of the television.
