Read the following text out loud.

Hi Mum,

Egypt at last! I made it here in one piece. I'm finally relaxed enough to tell you what happened to me last night.

First of all, I got lost on my way to the airport. When I finally arrived, the plane was almost ready to take off. I only had 20 minutes left until its departure. I ran to the check-in desk as fast as I could and got a boarding card.

When I got on board, I realized I didn't have my hand luggage with me. The flight attendant wouldn't let me go back to get it, so I yelled at him. He sent a stewardess to find it. Two minutes later she came back with the bag and said I left it at the plane entrance. Can you believe it? I felt really stupid and apologized to everyone. They were still angry with me, though. How do I know? I got sick during the flight and the crew didn't help me at all. They pretended to be busy, but I know they weren't. I felt like crying.

Now the good news: I really love it here. The weather is absolutely beautiful. It's a little too hot, but there are almost no clouds in the sky. That means there probably won't be any rain. The hotel is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, and there's a big swimming pool just outside my window. I'm going swimming after I send you this e-mail.
