ONLY - gdzie w zdaniu?

Miejsce w zdaniach only może być różne. Jednak może to zmienić sens zdania.
np.

The new manual only confused the PA. (It didn't spoil her day.)
The new manual confused only the PA. (It didn't confuse other staff.)
The new manual confused the only PA. (There was only one PA.)

Najlepiej dawać only przed słowem/wyrażeniem, które "only" zmienia/limituje.

Pierwsze zdanie jest poprawne. Drugie myślę, że też ponieważ nic po "only" nie ma - więc sensu zdania nie zmienia.
