Leon,

Adam, Bill and I went to that new Italian restaurant in the shopping centre yesterday. I must tell you that the food is excellent. They serve huge portions for reasonable prices. The menu was so big that we decided to order a three-course meal. We drank a whole bottle of delicious red wine from Portugal and then had strawberry ice cream for dessert. Adam paid the bill - dinner was on him. Bill and I left a huge tip because the service was so good.

While we were at the restaurant together, I spoke with Adam about the party on Friday. He promised to take care of the food, but you and I still have to bring something to drink. I found three cartons of orange juice and two bottles of wine in my cupboard, so I can bring those. I think it would be a good idea to start the party with a glass of champagne for everyone. Could you go to the supermarket and buy a bottle? You could also buy some snacks while you're there. We'll serve tea and coffee as well. Adam asked for skimmed milk for the coffee. It might also be a good idea to buy some green tea for those who don't drink black tea. Would you add those to your shopping list? 

There are some other things we need to take care of. How about meeting tomorrow to discuss all the details over a cup of hot chocolate?
