W sierpniowym quizzie eTutor-a: "W świecie mediów" padło pytanie o uzupełnienie zdania`The event will be __ live all over the world." - właściwą odpowiedzią było "broadcast", aczkolwiek ja raczej uzupełniłbym je jako "broadcasted" bo tak brzmi to dla mnie po prostu naturalniej.
Czy mógłbym prosić o wyjaśnienie, dlaczego tu ma wystąpić pierwsza forma orzeczenia? "will be" sugerowałoby użycie czasu Future Continuous, ale tam orzeczenie jest z końcówką "ing" więc tym bardziej to nie pasuje. Czy może jedynym wytłumaczeniem jest - bo tak się mówi i mam po prostu zapamiętać "will be broadcast" ?

Stad w quizzie sa mozliwe tylko dwie opcje:
1. The event will be broadcast live all over the world. - nie ma tu koncowki -ed na koncu czasownika.
2. The event will be broadcasting live all over the world. - jako zdanie wyrazone in the Future Continuous tense.

Wskazuje ono, że to wydarzenie będzie nadawać na żywo, a raczej to jakaś rozgłośnia lub stacja nadaje wydarzenie na żywo. W dodatku z will to nie jest Present Continuous, tylko Future Continuous.
Czyli jeśli byśmy chcieli użyć "will be", to ewentualnie "Radio One will be broadcasting the event live all over the world".

Tez zrobilam ten quiz i szukalam w Internecie wyjasnienia na temat czasownika 'broadcast'. W wiekszosci przypadkow jest podane, ze 'broadcast' is an irregular verb. Forma z koncowka -ed jako broadcasted nie jest juz uzywana.
The side note is needed here; in Diki because learners might be confused which version is correct.

Dziękuję wszystkim za odpowiedzi. Nie wiedziałem, że "broadcast" jest czasownikiem nieregularnym z trzema takimi samymi formami i stąd moje wątpliwości.
